Hello, I'm Rick Schouten, the founder of Okanagan Septic & Excavation. A native of the Okanagan Valley, I'm proud to raise my three children in this community. With a degree in Civil Engineering Technology and years of experience in Earthworks, I manage a division specializing in septic systems, excavation, and civil works.

Outstanding! No ordinary job, our newly purchased home came with a steel retaining wall (a remnant of the 80’s) bisecting our back yard.
Along with a new septic system, Rick and crew were able to remove the steel wall, recycle it, landscape our entire yard and install a beautiful rock garden. The process from a site visit, designing our new septic system to demolition and installation was done efficiently and timely, and at a fair price. Given all of the variables and a busy market we were really grateful for this.
